SA Communist Party (SACP) general secretary Solly Mapaila has denied claims that they wanted the ANC to go into a Government of National Unity (GNU) with former President Jacob Zuma’s MK Party, stating that they instead wanted the ANC-EFF coalition.Mapaila, who has often criticised Zuma’s move to launch his party as a counterparty to the ANC, labelled MKP as a “state capture” party that wanted to destroy the country.The SACP is currently holding its 5th special national congress in Boksburg, Johannesburg which will conclude on Saturday.The four-day congress will pave the party’s…
