The New York City-based Albert Einstein College of Medicine will become tuition-free after its receipt of a $1 billion donation from former professor Ruth Gottesman was announced Monday.Gottesman, whose late husband, David, sat on the board of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, credited him with providing her the means for such a generous donation. “l feel blessed to be given the great privilege of making this gift to such a worthy cause,” Gottesman, 93, said as she announced the gift — believed to be the largest ever received by a medical school in U.S. history.A New York City…
