Nkosana Makate’s lawyers say his idea for the Please Call Me (PCM) service was not just brilliant, it was “one of the most brilliant ideas there have ever been”. This in response to Vodacom’s argument that while it was “brilliant”, it was “just an idea”, which the company then took forward and developed into a product.
