Archbishop Thabo Makgoba has brought in some of the country’s top minds – including retired Judge Ian Farlam – to review the way the Anglican Church in South Africa handled warnings it received about former UK barrister and church member John Smyth, now accused of horrific acts of abuse of young boys.
