CAPE TOWN – Between July and September this year, the Western Cape saw an 8.7% decline in murder compared to the previous year.Officials say they’re making progress in reducing serious crime in the province, however gang violence continues to be a major concern, with children as young as 12 recruited into gangs.Some community leaders say the lack of recreational facilities in communities is part of the problem.eNCA’s Nobesuthu Hejana reports in the video above.
