Humphrey Immerman, a dog who went from being homeless to becoming an ambassador for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was given a fond farewell by those close to him at Umhlanga Beach yesterday.Humphrey died of liver failure last month.Alwyn Immerman, his owner for the last 13 years, described him as a great friend who he will not forget.“He has played his part on planet earth and has helped a lot of dogs in the process.
