As reported by the public broadcaster last week, The Dube Birds are not expected to return for the 2024/25 season with owner David Mogashoa ready to accept legitimate bids having put up the club’s DStv Premiership for sale. It’s understood there have been talks behind the scenes with several interested parties, among them two of his counterparts in the Motsepe Foundation Championship in Abram Sello and Farook Kadodia. Sello owns Marumo Gallants, while Kadodia is in charge of Maritzburg United, two teams recently relegated to the second tier and desperate to get back into the big time…
