Trusted guard of murdered steroid king says he was paid R120k as police informant

The star witness in the Brian Wainstein murder trial said he was paid R120 000 for being a police informant.  Mr X is testifying in the trial of businessmen Mark Lifman, alleged Sexy Boys gang leader Jerome Booysen, security company owner Andre Naude, and their associates who are allegedly from the 27s gang. Wainstein was murdered in August 2017 at his home in Constantia.
