Some MK Party supporters accuse IEC of bias in Zuma case

JOHANNESBURG – Some uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) party supporters have accused the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) of political bias for wanting to remove their leader, Jacob Zuma from its list of candidates.
The IEC has taken Zuma to the Constitutional Court to seek clarity on Section 47 of the Constitution.
The commission initially disqualified Zuma as a candidate based on this section, however, its decision was overturned by the Electoral Court.
