JOHANNESBURG – Rise Mzansi has lashed out at the Democratic Alliance (DA) and its leader, John Steenhuisen, over his remarks about parties seeking to make headway in the Western Cape.
Over the weekend, Steenhuisen launched a tirade as he warned supporters against voting his party out of power, calling parties like Rise Mzansi, Good, the National Coloured Congress and the Patriotic Alliance (PA), mercenaries.
He denounced them for campaigning in the DA-run province, whilst he claimed there was a desire by some to loot the Western Cape.
