Questions have arisen over what interventions Police Minister Senzo Mchunu will put in place to address political killings which are particularly rampant in KwaZulu-Natal ahead of the 2026 local government elections.This comes after the minister issued a directive last week for National Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Fannie Masemola to disband the task team into political killings.
