Co-accused in Modack trial insists she was part of police investigation

CAPE TOWN – An accused in the high-profile trial against underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack insists she was part of a police investigation against Modack.
The accused faces charges for allegedly plotting attacks on slain top cop Charl Kinnear, before his eventual murder in September 2020. 
Modack and 14 co-accused face 122 charges for various crimes, including the murder of Kinnear. 
Defence attorney Pauline Andrews questioned Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) captain Franklin Stone on Thursday about his testimony related to co-accused Amaal Jantjies.
