CAPE TOWN – With cold weather expected across the country this weekend, Eskom has made provision to meet the anticipated electricity demand.
A severe low-pressure system is set to sweep over large parts of the country, bringing widespread rain, cold weather, and disruptive snowfall.
In Gauteng, the province’s Joint Operations Committee has urged residents to only travel if necessary and to be on high alert for icy roads, as snow is expected this weekend.
