JOHANNESBURG – Economic stagnation in the country’s mostly rural provinces drives people to big cities. That’s according to a recent survey which looked at all nine provinces. It considered key areas including demographics, living conditions, and crime and security.It shows dependence on struggling primary and secondary industries is a major factor. We unpack this further with Chris Hattingh from Centre for Risk Analysis.
