Police officer accused of killing his girlfriend to appear in court

JOHANNESBURG – The 42-year-old police officer who is accused of shooting and killing his 22-year-old girlfriend, will be appearing in court today.Chesnay Keppler, a crime warden in Eldorado Park was allegedly shot and killed by her boyfriend the day after Christmas.He then turned the gun on himself and attempted to commit suicide but failed to kill himself.READ: GBV epidemic | Chesnay Keppler to be laid to restHe has been under police custody since.Keppler was laid to rest this past weekend.Her family is demanding justice for her murder and says the suspect should not be given bail.
