CAPE TOWN – The Western Cape High Court has granted an interim order preventing the building of any more illegal structures on land earmarked for a cemetery in Mitchells Plain.Plans for work to commence at the site in Tafelsig are already at an advanced stage, according to Cape Town officials.The city says the court application was never intended to evict people who are living on the land, but rather to stem an influx.eNCA’s Nobesuthu Hejana reports.
