Lamola congratulates Frelimo for winning Mozambique elections

PRETORIA – International Relations Minister Ronald Lamola has issued a congratulatory message to the Frelimo party in Mozambique for winning the country’s elections.Lamola, however, shrugged off suggestions that South Africa is siding with its liberation struggle friends amid the ongoing protests against the election outcome. Meanwhile, as Mozambique continues to experience violent protests in the aftermath of its general elections, International Relations Minister Ronald Lamola says the call for South Africans to postpone non-essential visits to the country until further notice remains.
