JOHANNESBURG – There has been much discussion on the need to go green to curb global warming.But, in 2023, the world used a record amount of fossil fuels.This is according to the latest Statistical Review of World Energy.But, the issue is far more complex with 1 in 10 people in the developing world living without electricity.This translates to 600-million people in sub-Saharan Africa without power.We discuss the report with co-author, Prashaen Reddy, from consulting firm, Kearney.
