DA, ActionSA, Afriforum threaten legal action over Land Expropriation Act

JOHANNESBURG – The DA, a partner in the government of national unity, and other political parties are threatening to drag government to court over the Land Expropriation Act.  President Cyril Ramaphosa signed the Bill into law on Thursday after a five-year process.The Act replaces the previous law on expropriation dating back to 1975.The DA says it has serious reservations about certain aspects of the Act.ActionSA is also considering legal action, saying this is yet another example of the ANC’s relentless push for destructive policies.   Civil society group Afriforum says it will…
