City of Tshwane ‘studying’ order to reinstate suspended officials

TSHWANE – The City of Tshwane has been ordered to reinstate five senior officials.The officials were suspended for their alleged involvement in irregularly awarding a tender to upgrade the Rooiwal Wastewater Treatment Plant.A bargaining council ruled that the suspensions were “capricious and arbitrary”.Metro spokesperson Selby Bokaba says the City is still studying the arbitration award and its implications.
