CAPE TOWN – Cape Town residents have described the debilitating impact rampant crime has had on their daily lives.Despite the South African Police Service detailing measures they’ve rolled out to rein in the scourge, residents are adamant that much more should be done to rid the streets of all forms of crime.Western Cape police say officers head to hotspots and conduct intelligence-driven search and seizures, raids, roadblocks and tracing operations every week.eNCA’s Kevin Brandt reports in the video above.
