CAPE TOWN – The Bo-Kaap Civic and Ratepayers’ Association says it’s disappointed with the City of Cape Town’s approval of an application for a six-storey hotel in the historic area.The development will be mere meters away from the oldest mosque in the country.Residents say the development will impact the living cultural heritage and traditions of Bo-Kaap.Noor Osman from the Bo-Kaap Civic and Ratepayers’ Association, spoke to eNCA.
