Chris Hani’s family calls for inquest into assassination

JOHANNESBURG – The Hani Family and the SACP have reaffirmed a joint call for an inquest into Chris Hani’s assassination.They are adamant the parole granted to Janusz Waluś disregards the fact that neither he nor his co-conspirators fully disclosed the truth surrounding the assassination.Waluś was deported back to his home country, Poland, on Friday.The Constitutional Court ruled that denying Waluś’ parole in 2020 was irrational two years ago.This enabled his release after 28 years in prison.Walus’ South African citizenship was revoked in 2017 but was granted residence after his…
