George building survivors demand answers and accountability

GEORGE, Western Cape – Answers, accountability and closure are what survivors and families of victims of the George building disaster are longing for.On Wednesday they honoured rescuers at the George Civic Centre, to express their gratitude to emergency services and their tireless efforts to save their lives.34 workers lost their lives when the apartment block was reduced to rubble, while 28 were successfully brought to the surface.eNCA reporter, Kevin Brandt, was there and compiled this report in the video above.
