Lead investigator in Meyiwa trial convinced footballer was killed by intruders

JOHANNESBURG – The lead investigator in the Senzo Meyiwa trial said he’s convinced that the footballer was killed by intruders and not the people who were with him in the house where he was shot.
Brigadier Bongani Gininda started his testimony in the Pretoria High Court on Thursday.

Meyiwa was shot at the home of his then-girlfriend, singer Kelly Khumalo, in 2014 in Vosloorus.
Gininda listed factors that swayed him and led him to exclude Longwe Twala as the gunman.
