Hawks on a mission to recapture dangerous CIT gang in Cape Town

KHAYELITSHA – The Hawks are looking for three would-be cash in transit heist members, who were involved in a dramatic shootout with police in Khayelitsha earlier this month, leaving eight of the suspects dead.The men were set free on a technicality after they were brought to court unlawfully, outside of the prescribed 48 hours.READ: Suspected Khayelitsha CIT robbers set freeThe National Prosecuting Authority are understandably not happy with that, and will now request a review of the decision.Police say the men are extremely dangerous.Ayesha Ismail filed this report.
