JOHANNESBURG – Online crowdfunding website – BackaBuddy – has taken down the funding campaign that raised over R50 000 in support of controversial Democratic Alliance (DA) member of Parliament (MP) Renaldo Gouws.
Gouws was suspended by his party last week – after a 2009 video emerged of the MP uttering racist slurs.
Scores of his supporters insists he is being discriminated against.
