The eThekwini Municipality has issued an urgent warning to motorists and road users regarding a substantial sinkhole that has emerged in the heart of Durban’s Central Business District (CBD).
This hazardous sinkhole, located at the intersection of Dr Yusuf Dadoo Street and Bertha Mkhize Street, resulted from an underground water pipe burst. Also, the municipality is urging all road users to exercise caution and adhere to the temporary road closures and diversions put in place to facilitate repair work.
